HCT Makes Strong Showing at Canadian Nationals in Quebec City

Handball Club Toronto proudly sent three teams to the Canadian Senior National Championships. The tournament took place in Lévis, Quebec, from May 16 to 18. With more than 50 athletes and coaches, our club had a big presence at the country’s top handball event.

Our men’s and women’s teams played with great skill and effort. They faced off against the best clubs in Canada. Our men’s teams finished in 4th and 8th place. Our women’s team took 4th place. We are very proud of our players for their hard work.

Three of our members also won individual awards.

Dawn Song was named the best Centre Back on the Women’s All-Star Team,

Jason Miller won the best Pivot award on the Men’s All-Star Team. For the second year in a row and finally

Isaac Junior Fonsho was named the best Goalkeeper on the Men’s All-Star Team.

A big congratulations to all of you!!

This tournament was a great experience. It showed the strength and growth of our club. Thank you to the organizers in Lévis for a great event. We also thank all the teams who participated.

Congratulations to our athletes on a successful championship! We look forward to building on this success next season.
